Make the World Better: Weekly Wednesday Action

Wednesday, February 1, 2017

We invite you to join us in making the world better, by taking a weekly action every Wednesday with the Women’s Center. Once a week, we’ll share an idea or two here, to help you get connected to resources to get involved, take action, and find community.

  1. This week, we invite you to attend our Feminist Friday: Claiming Intersectional Feminism in a New Political Reality to engage in discussion, build community, and inspire new ideas on how to be active. This event is in partnership with Black Motivated Women and Amber Jones, Education Organizer with MN Neighborhoods Organizing for Change (NOC), we are looking forward to bringing you a panel discussion with Lena Gardner, Ashley López, Arianna Nason, Dua Saleh, Shayla Walker, and Denise Hạnh Huỳnh!
  2. Check out and share the #ImmigrationSyllabus, a resource launched by the U of M’s Immigration History Research Center that supports better understanding of immigration history.

As we continue to post these weekly actions, you can click here to find previous posts.

Thank you for all that you do to make the world better!
